Tender description

The advice service will provide free, independent, impartial advice and support within a culture of equality and diversity. The provision of a local, community focused advice service will ensure residents are able to access the advice and support they need at the right time. The advice will be efficient and effective in preventing and reducing the problems faced by residents. The service is expected to provide advice and support across a wide range of areas, including (but not limited to): • Housing and Tenancy issues (including tenancy rights, threats of illegal eviction, rent and mortgage arrears) • Welfare Benefit • Finance and Debt • Employment Law • Family Law • Generalist advice The Council will be commissioning this service in Summer 19 and by clicking on this link you will be automatically notified when the tender goes live.
