Tender description
The London Borough of Sutton (LBS) and the Royal Borough of Kingston (RBK) have shared a Finance service since April 2017. The service has accredited Bacs bureaux status and processes Bacs transactions for other customers in addition to those for both Councils. Transaction volumes are circa 195k per month. The current Bacs solution in use is hosted on-premise however in line with our IT strategy we are starting to consider cloud platforms. We are undertaking this preliminary exercise to understand the broad market and the options available in relation to moving to a hosted cloud solution and the indicative baseline prices for that. The intention is the information gained from this exercise will be used to define the Council strategy for a BACS solution as well as to decide the most appropriate route to market.
