Thurrock Council is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified architectural team to support its proposal to develop a site in South Ockendon. This phased commission will have 3 key components: — to achieve a planning approval for a new residential/intermediate care facility and older persons accommodation scheme as the initial phase of development at this location, — a master plan for the site to accommodate a range of buildings for care (as above), as well as other residential, community and health provision, — the Council intends to retain the architect as design advisor through to completion of a resultant design and build contract for construction of the intermediate care and older person’s accommodation.
