Repair and maintenance services of medical and precision equipment

Tender description

Subject to a formal OJEU tender process the medical device service is required to provide a total managed medical device maintenance, PPM within their respective timescales, call out, repair, calibration service, including managing any specialist sub-contracts for Southern Health within Hampshire. The service requirement includes performance, operational, contract and finance management. Total number of sites: 107 (including community hospitals, secure units, clinics, GP Practices Hampshire Wide). Total number of assets: 11 257 (May 2019). Staffing regularly using the equipment: 4 459. Average monthly mileage: The medical device total ‘end to end’ managed service is inclusive of: — PPM, — asset only, — inspection only, — call outs, — repairs, — calibration, — commissioning, — decommissioning, — disposal (auction). There is also a requirement for management of specialist subcontracts, for specialist equipment, where the contractor is unable to direct maintain these items.
