Provision of a NEw Visitor Experience in the Carrickmacross Workhouse, Co Monaghan

Tender description

Monaghan County Council is seeking to produce a new and evocative visitor experience in the Workhouse, Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan that will enhance and update the existing visitor offering in the county. Tenders are invited from competent organisations/accomplished creators with experience in the upgrading, planning, design and delivery of story-telling experiences at major tourist attractions. The aim of the project is to provide both a learning and discovery experience - one that will make a lasting impression on visitors and encourage them to return again and tell others to visit Carrickmacross Workhouse. The intention is to pull the visitor both physically and emotionally into a place they would not otherwise see and to experience what life must have been like to be ‘living’ in the Workhouse in Carrickmacross at that time.
