Provision of 3G Artificial Grass Pitch at Cleator Moor Activity Centre, Cumbria

Tender description

Cleator Moor Activity Centre is owned by Copeland Borough Council and managed on their behalf by Greenwich Leisure Ltd. Cleator Moor Activity Centre offers both indoor and outdoor facilities. The existing outdoor synthetic pitch had an original 20mm pile with a prefab shock pad and sand infill with macadam base. The pitch supported football, rugby and hockey but is severely worn and is now in need of repair. CBC and GLL are looking to replace the existing synthetic pitch with a 3G artificial grass pitch (approximate size 103m x 63m) capable of supporting full sized rugby and football as well as 7 v 7 football.
