Tender description

Provision of well-being services to employees at the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) including Occupational Health, Physiotherapy and Workstation Assessments. CAA is looking to consolidate its Employee Well-being contracts in to one contract, with one supplier who can provide all requirements. These requirements are: Occupational Health: — OH assessments and reports to assist with absence management and return to work processes, with a focus on prevention and early intervention (face to face/telephone), — pre-placement medical assessments (predominantly questionnaire based), — fitness to travel — advice and risk assessment (face to face/telephone). Physiotherapy: — for CAA staff members who have injuries or musculoskeletal conditions related to or affecting their work, — access to faster, local, advice and treatment to both prevent sickness absence and reduce the impact from musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. Workstation Assessments: — to undertake workstation assessments in accordance with Health and Safety (Display Screen) Regulations 1992 and HSE guidance L26 for users that have been identified as potentially suffering adverse health or safety issues from display screen equipment work, — the output from the assessment must identify any legally non-compliant elements of the workstation. Where necessary provide clear recommendations to improve the layout and use of workstation and reduce any risk to the individual from display screen equipment work.
