Tender description
The Council is carrying out this market engagement exercise to seek intelligence from the market in order to help shape any forthcoming procurement. Therefore interested supplier's are invited to complete and submit the supplier questionnaire (please see Appendix A — separate MS Word document) following the instructions in PPME Document. Supplier questionnaire’s must be received by 12:00 (noon) on the 11.6.2019. The Council currently commissions 6 providers to deliver the home care element of Extra Care housing services across the County. With the exception of one provider these Contracts expire 31.3.2020. The Council is looking to tender the onsite homecare element of Extra Care services for 16 existing schemes across Hertfordshire. Extra Care Housing offers people aged over 55 the opportunity to live in the privacy of their own flat with access to care delivered by an onsite care team if needed. Extra Care services are currently available 7 days a week, 365 days a year. All but 2 schemes have care 24 hours a day.
