GB-Bristol: The Provision of Temperate Weather Aircrew Boots and ancillary items

Tender description

The Authority hereby seeks to acquire temperate weather boots for Aircrew flying Fast Jets (FJ). The current boots cleared for service are no longer supported contractually and or declared unfit for purpose from size 10 and above. The OEM of one of the boots is no longer trading and therefore these can no longer be purchased. Cockpit and control integration issues have been identified, whilst being cleared for use on the Platform, clearance has since been rescinded for boots size 10 and upwards. The Authority seeks to purchase boots which have been cleared by the Platform OEM, BAE Systems and also have been recommended by RAFCAM. Please note that this is a Contract Award and not opportunity for Expressions of Interest.
