Tender description

We will soon be procuring suppliers for fire risk assessments, compartmentation surveys, specialist follow-on works, and active and passive remedial works. In preparation for this, we’ll be hosting an engagement event on 7 June where interested suppliers can come and find out more before the procurement process begins. We would like to invite prospective contractors to attend this event, where you'll be able to learn more about Onward and who we are, understand our objectives and the potential structure for these contracts, and have the opportunity to give your feedback and influence the proposals. The supplier will carry out a fire risk assessment to meet the requirements of relevant national life safety legislation. The supplier will inspect the site, discuss fire safety provisions with on-site staff and prepare a risk assessment report. The supplier should be competent to carry out FRA surveys of all types 1-4. The supplier will carry out compartmentation surveys and remedial passive and active to meet the requirements of relevant national life safety legislation. The supplier will inspect the site, discuss fire safety provisions with any on-site staff and prepare a full report. The supplier will not carry out both the survey and subsequent works unless expressly stated. It is intended that on each project the supplier will either carry out the compartmentation survey or subsequent works interchangeably.
