Knowsley MBC are seeking expressions of interest from experienced public artists who would be interested in developing an illuminated overhead artwork for Eccleston Street in Prescot. This artwork is intended to bring to life and celebrate Prescot’s unique sense of place and heritage and we want to work with an artist/ artists with the highest level of creativity and imagination to do this. At this stage Knowsley MBC would like to hear from public artists and artist teams who have previous experience of delivering high quality, outdoor, light based overhead public art works including but not limited to light projections & interactive light art. We are seeking expressions of interest from artists who have: • Experience of creating, producing and installing high quality, innovative, external light based public art works • Experience of working effectively with key stakeholders • Experience of delivering projects on time and on budget Please express your interest by Monday 10th June 12noon.
