Tender description

The Royal Marsden Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (the "Authority") is issuing this invitation to tender ("ITT") in connection with the competitive procurement for the provision of a Radiation Dosimetry Service to the Royal Marsden Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The Trust intends to have a contract with the successful bidder for a period of five years, which may be extended further for a period of two years on annual basis only on Trust's discretion. The external provider must be a Dosimetry Service that is Approved by the HSE (ADS) for whole body, extremity and eye doses arising from the use of diagnostic and therapeutic x-rays in the energy range from 25kVp to 150kVp (diagnostic), and then up to 10MV (therapeutic); also for gamma radiation in the energy range 30keV to 2MeV. It is desirable that the dosimeters provided can also measure beta radiation across a range from 2.5MeV. The external provider must demonstrate evidence that HSE Approvals are current.
