Tender description
Sefton has experienced significant flooding leading to internal property surface water flooding on six separate instances since the publication of the 2013 Surface Water Management Plan; August 2014, September 2014, November 2015, December 2015, June 2016 and September 2017. Due to these flood events, further information of flooding hotspots and causes of flooding has come to light, meaning that there is a need for further, more informed study in particular areas. This is the aim of the Level 2 SWMPs; to undertake a much more detailed assessment of the target areas and provide costed options for interventions.
