Tender description

A new Framework Agreement roster for systems and facilities required to capture, produce and distribute BBC content within broadcast/media sporting event production facilities, where suppliers will be responsible for end-to-end integration of systems, services and facilities to deliver outputs that meet BBC. Requirements. Includes hardware, software and network integration as required by each project, and may also include: — design in line with BBC policies (e.g. information security, environmental, accessibility), — installation, maintenance and operation documentation, — equipment supply, — physical installation, — systems interoperability and interfacing, — integration with existing and BBC-supplied equipment and systems, — configuration, — commissioning, — test, — training, — handover inc. delivery of asset information in line with BBC standards, — health and safety management, — post-implementation review, — project management of delivery of systems integrator's responsibilities. — small event, for example, remote production facilities for a Winter Olympics; Commonwealth Games; European Football Championships, — typically 8 to 15 racks of equipment, <6 Edit Stations, and associated Production Office. — large event, for example, onsite production facility for a Summer Olympics, or a single-site World Cup, — typically 40-60 racks, gallery/galleries, full post production facilities, and substantial Production Office.
