WORCESTER CITY COUNCIL CCTV UPGRADE AND MAINTENANCE

Tender description

Worcester City Council has an existing CCTV system with a large number of analogue cameras and small number of IP cameras linked to an existing Avigilon Video Management System (VMS). The Council wish to carry out the following work: i. Upgrade the analogue cameras to digital IP cameras ii. Use a mixture of new Pan/Tilt/Zoom cameras and new Panoramic (180 / 360 degree cameras) iii. Replace the analogue fibre optic transmission network with a digital IP network with spare capacity for additional cameras and public WiFi iv. Upgrade the Video Recording system with extra disk space and licences v. Take out a maintenance contract for the new cameras and new digital transmission network and any existing systems that are being retained vi. Dispose of old equipment (to include cameras, cables and power supplies). vii. All new equipment must be fully compatible with the existing Avigilon VMS system.
