Tender description

Central Bedfordshire Council (CBC) is submitting to tender the requirements for the provision of a new adult social care case management and Financial system. We are looking to work in partnership with a flexible, forward thinking solution focussed provider to deliver an integrated management system with customer and provider self-service and an e-Marketplace offer to support the delivery of adult social care in Central Bedfordshire. Bidders will need to demonstrate their ability to meet the mandatory technical functionality requirements. Central Bedfordshire Council's adult social care team need to be equipped with the latest technology in the form of an effective ASC case management and financials system, which fully supports the customer centric approach, aides practitioners in critical day-to-day responsibilities like Safeguarding and re-ablement, facilitates management of demand, enables more reliable and efficient handling of routine transactions, and greater use of shared data. At the customer level enabling self management, individual budgets and direct payments will enable a more personalised capability promoting greater choice and self-determination of care. An e-Marketplace offer is required to provide information advice and guidance and allow customers to procure services directly as required. The new system must be able to support the existing adult social care case management and financial requirements, with a clear development path to ensure that the system evolves to support the new and emerging requirements in adult social care.
