Skills Advisory Panels – Data Analysis (SAPs)

Tender description

Skills Advisory Panels (SAPs) are a key initiative under the Government’s Industrial Strategy published in 2017 to address mismatches between skills supply and employer demand and the Department for Education (DfE) is currently rolling out 36 SAPs across England, each of which will comprise employers, skills providers and local government - pooling their knowledge on skills and labour market needs and working together to understand and address key local challenges. Their work will be wide ranging from tackling immediate needs, looking at what is required to adapt to future labour market changes and grasping emerging opportunities. This will help colleges, universities and other providers deliver the skills required by employers now and in the future.
