Tender description

Derbyshire Dales District Council (the Council) is a Waste Collection Authority in Derbyshire with 34154 households (March 2019). The Council is seeking to procure the new Organic (Food and Garden Waste) Processing contract from 1.8.2020 for an initial term of 2 years, with an option to extend for a further 2-year period. The contract shall include the supply of a delivery point and/or a processing facility where compostable waste (including food waste) collected by the Council’s collection contractor can be delivered, the composting of compostable waste to produce a reusable product in accordance with applicable regulations and best practice and to either sell or otherwise utilise the resultant product such that there is a benefit to agriculture.
