Tender description
The Council wishes to procure a service for the haulage (provisional item) and processing of Dry Mixed Recyclable (DMR) waste. The current annual output is circa 24 000 tonnes of DMR waste, however, this figure cannot be guaranteed or fixed, as quantities will vary from year to year. Walsall is situated in the West Midlands; it has excellent communication links to the rest of the country, lying close to the heart of national road and rail networks. The Borough combines urban, suburban and rural communities. Walsall’s population is over 250 000 and increasing.
