Tender description
Phased programme of replacement of MF non-directional beacon transmitters at each of Barra, Benbecula, Campbeltown, Dundee, Inverness, Islay and Kirkwall airports. Replacement of NDB antennas at Campbeltown and Barra airports. HIAL wish to appoint a single supplier to supply, deliver, install and commission NDB equipment (and where necessary antenna and ground plate); decommission existing equipment; and provide support services, compliant with all regulatory and operational requirements at Barra, Benbecula, Campbeltown, Dundee, Inverness, Islay and Kirkwall Airports. The replacement programme at all sites will be completed by 31.3.2022. The contract will subsist for a period of 15 years following installation of the NDB equipment at the final site.
