Tender description
Network Rail has awarded a contract for: 1) Development of existing plant to meet Network Rails switch and crossing profiling needs, with a view to have a developed product ready for purchase; 2) If the development phase is successful, Network Rail shall then enter into a Framework Agreement for the purchase of the developed plant. Network Rail require a measurement product to enable it to automate the measurement and profiling of its switch's and crossing estate. Network Rail (NR) infrastructure contains a wide range of S&C types and designs, ranging from old bull head S&C units through to the modern NR60 Mk 2 unit.
