Royal Greenwich is about to embark on an exciting journey, developing new models of services to meet the needs of children and young people in the 21 century. At the heart of the developments will be an innovative, early intervention and prevention programme. This will be offered universally to children and young people in Royal Greenwich including support for their parents and a dynamic new pathway of services for adolescents. The new services will go live in April 2020 and will incorporate the following services: — children's centres, — health visiting (including additional support for teenage mothers, young fathers and their babies), — universal youth service (including summer activities), — school nursing (including additional support for young people who offend and those at risk), — weight management services for children and young people, — sexual health outreach services. Reference number: SPS 2177 This lot is for the delivery of Start Well Children's Centres in the East Area. The service includes as a minimum all elements of the core purpose of children’s centres and the healthy child programme. These will be delivered in a wholly integrated way and resources will be used to achieve these outcomes to meet the needs of families and children, delivering the maximum possible impact in the most effective and efficient ways. This lot is for the delivery of Start Well Children's Centres in the South Area. The service includes as a minimum all elements of the core purpose of children’s centres and the healthy child programme. These will be delivered in a wholly integrated way and resources will be used to achieve these outcomes to meet the needs of families and children, delivering the maximum possible impact in the most effective and efficient ways. This lot is for the delivery of Start Well Children's Centres in the Central Area. This lot is for the delivery of Start Well Children's Centres in the West Area. The service includes as a minimum all elements of the core purpose of children’s centres and the healthy child programme. These will be delivered in a wholly integrated way and resources will be used to achieve these outcomes to meet the needs of families and children, delivering the maximum possible impact in the most effective and efficient ways. This lot is for the delivery of the Young Greenwich Service. The service includes as a minimum all elements of the Healthy Child Programme (5-19) and fulfill the key purpose of youth work to enable young people to develop holistically, working with them to facilitate their personal, social and educational development, to enable them to develop their voice, influence and place in society and to reach their full potential. This lot is for the delivery of the Start Well Greenwich Quality Assurance Service. The provider will deliver a quality assurance service for children, young people and parents/carers in Royal Greenwich. Start Well Greenwich Quality Assurance Service will employ a number of quality assurance techniques and tools to enable service users to effectively provide feedback against a broad measure of service experience. The service will utilise this information to identify areas where improvements can be made, with practical action taken where required.
