Tender description
Please note: This is not a call for competition. Devon County Council (DCC), Plymouth City Council (PCC) and Torbay Council (TC), in partnership with NHS Devon Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), are proposing to jointly commission a Healthwatch and Local Engagement Contract across the footprint of the Sustainability and Transformation Partnership (STP) for Devon. It is proposed that the contract will be made up of 2 lots: — Lot 1: Statutory Health and Social Care Consumer Voice (Local Healthwatch), funded by all three local authorities, with the CCG as a key stakeholder, and — Lot 2: Local Health and Social Care Engagement, with the three local authorities and the CCG all being parties to this element of the contract. Services purchased under this lot will be on a ‘spot’ basis only. Please note: This is not a call for competition. By working together, there is greater opportunity for continued service innovation, collaborative working, sharing knowledge, expertise and capacity in order to jointly realise benefits for service users and maintain a sustainable Local Healthwatch function and support community engagement on health and social care issues. Draft specifications for both lots of the proposed contract will be published in late spring with pre-engagement events with potential providers taking place in all 3 local authority areas on the following dates: — Torbay: Thursday 20.6.2019 10:00 a.m., — Exeter: Friday 21.6.2019 10:00 a.m., — Plymouth: Monday 24.6.2019 10:00 a.m. To confirm your attendance please contact procurementpeople-mailbox@devon.gov.uk Numbers will be limited to 2 per organisation, so please respond promptly to book a place.
