Tender description

Nottinghamshire County Council (The Council) sought tenders for the provision of a low level, short term supported accommodation service in South Nottinghamshire. The service will be offered on a short term basis and will support people aged 18 or over who have either a learning disability, a mental health issue, autism, or a physical disability, to enable them to gain or regain independent living skills. The service will be offered on a short term basis and the aim is to prevent the need for more intensive, ongoing support by connecting people to their communities and maximising their independence. This tender was for the delivery of a support only contract. The Provider was required however to provide access to housing that is appropriate to the needs of service users. The provider will deliver an average of 6 hours per service user per week of face to face support and have access to a minimum of 12 units of accommodation. Individual packages of outcome focussed support will be designed to meet the needs of each service user.
