Council Tax Discount Single Person Review Services

Tender description

Tenders are invited for the supply of Council Tax Single Person Discount (SPD) Review Services. The successful Service Provider will be required to undertake: • A risk based and intelligence driven bulk review of all Council Tax payers who are receiving a Single Person Discount (SPD) to check their eligibility; • Ongoing reviews thereafter of SPD cases to check customers' ongoing eligibility for SPD and new SPDs coming into the caseload; • A fully managed service with the successful Service Provider to access and update the Council Tax database (Capita's One Revenues & Benefits system), the Council's Document Management System (currently Northgate's Information@Work) and its Fraud Management Systems (Datatank's OPUS) with the results of review work undertaken.
