Tender description

Community support for people to stay well and for those with serious and long term mental health needs to take part in and contribute to their communities, and to find and retain employment, leisure, education, housing and social life. Community support to stay well for adult Ealing residents. This lot is to be used for promoting mental wellbeing for all Ealing residents, especially through challenging stigma and building resilience. Part of the rationale for this approach is that people with serious and long term mental health needs should be able to live in safety in their own communities, and contribute to the life of their neighbourhood. For this to happen work needs to be done to encourage us all to understand mental health and accept people with serious and long term mental health as part of our lives Community support for people with serious and long-term mental health needs to take part in and contribute to their communities (whether communities are geographical, neighbourhood, special interest, BAMER groups, LGBT+) and to find or retain employment, leisure, education, housing and social life. This lot could be provided through one or more services. For the purposes of this specification it will be referred to as ‘the Service’, recognising that this may be 2 or more services.
