Threemilewater Woodland Path Works

Tender description

The Contract is for the provision of a Contractor to deliver THREEMILEWATER WOODLAND PATH WORKS. The location of works is at the Threemilewater Conservation Park, Doagh Road, Newtownabbey. Project Scope – The contract will include the following works: Construction of a new 2m wide gravel path with an approximate length of between 1-1.5km which will run through a steeply wooded area within Threemilewater Conservation Park, adjacent to Doagh Road. The new pathway will provide links to the existing path network with the park. Prior to construction of the new pathway, extensive site clearance enabling works will be required to remove areas of scrub, shrubs and trees along the route of the new path. The scheme will also require provision of new directional and information signage and park furniture. The site is uniquely located within an area of environmental sensitivity, therefore relevant considerations should be applied during construction works.
