Summary of the work Greater Manchester Mental Health are looking to procure a supplier to support implementation of the data visualisation tool Tableau over the next 12 months in defined service areas. Latest start date Wednesday 1 May 2019 Why the Work is Being Done The Trust (GMMH) are looking to procure a supplier to support implementation of the data visualisation tool Tableau over the next 12 months in defined service areas. This should ensure improved , accessible information to improve provision of efficient, effective and productive services. It should also enable improved ownership and engagement of staff with performance and outcomes . It also enables joint working across GM and local mental health provider. Problem to Be Solved Purchase of licenses, training and consultancy support to support the implementation of Tableau as a data visualisation tool in defined service areas and ensure GMMH staff have the necessary skills to further develop access and roll out. Development of dashboards in agreed priority areas. Promotion of use of data visualisation tools by staff. Who Are the Users Users will include Business Intelligence and Finance staff to initially work with the supplier in development. Staff from operational services will be involved to ensure consultation enable clear outcomes to be agreed in the priority service areas. This should result in meaningful dashboards that reflect needs. Existing Team GMMH Business Intelligence and Finance Staff. Current Phase Not applicable Skills & Experience • Experienced and skilled in use of Tableau in the NHS and in mental health in the NHS • Experienced and skilled trainers • Track record of consultancy support Work Location Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS FT, Bury New Road, Prestwich, Manchester, M25 3BL, Working Arrangments The arrangement will be for a 12 month period. On site work will be expected as appropriate.
