The London Borough of Redbridge (“the Authority”) is seeking expressions of interest for the Provision of Integrated Community Equipment in the London Borough of Redbridge and Participating Authorities, The Integrated Community Equipment Service provides community equipment for residents of the London Boroughs of Redbridge, Havering and Clinical Commissioning Group funded residents in Barking & Dagenham (under the BHRICES Section 75 Agreement). Equipment provided ranges from Complex Aids to Daily Living (CADL) such as air alternating pressure mattresses to Simple Aids to Daily Living (SADL) such as a raised toilet seat. The equipment also supports the process of discharge from hospital, where patients need equipment to return home. This exercise is intended to assess the level of interest and obtain some further information from potential providers, to provide an integrated Community Equipment Service.
