Tender description

The purpose of this tender process is to identify a supplier who will be capable to provide all required firewall software, hardware and licences, in accordance with Trinity House’s statement of requirements. All interested parties for this requirement should express their interest via delta e-sourcing using Access Code 46WGZX9GVB. A Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) will be required to be completed prior to receiving access to the Invitation to Tender (ITT) document. The NDA is available for download from the document repository and should be actioned at the earliest opportunity. The completed NDA must be returned via Delta Message Centre as an attachment prior to Monday 28th January to allow access to the invitation to tender document and for sufficient time to respond. If returned after this date, the ITT documents will be provided but the tender closure date will remain. The invitation to tender document is readily available following completion of the required NDA. The purpose of this tender process is to identify a supplier who is capable of providing all required firewall software, hardware and licences, in accordance with Trinity House’s statement of requirements. To expand upon this, planning and conducting a review of the existing infrastructure will be required, in addition to providing a project plan and design, including a migration process. A review and redesign of rule base(s) for all existing blade elements, including firewall, application control, IPS, Threat Emulation, VPN, etc. including implementation onto new hardware will be necessary. Further to providing the new firewall software and hardware, setup and deployment, testing and onsite presence during go-live will be required. The new hardware will need to be configured to match user requirements and the design will be agreed upon. Tender submissions must also account for any work required after an external penetration test to ensure the firewall is fully “compliant” to Trinity House’s expectations, such as having no critical or high risks as a minimum. This requirement will not include general networking configuration, or the provision of VMs where required. Service and support contracts will be required and are included in the scope. Location of contract performance will be predominantly at Trinity House in Harwich, Essex and Tower Hill, London. Due to the sensitive information that is contained within the invitation to tender, a confidentiality – Non-Disclosure Agreement is required prior to accessing this requirement. Tenderers are reminded to uphold the terms of this agreement throughout the tender process. Regulation 21 (3) from The Public Contracts Regulations 2015 applies.
