The BBC welcomes your response to this RFI to help develop its understanding of the market’s current and future capabilities with regard to Music Rotation. This RFI concerns the provision of a music rotation capability to:- 1) Support “traditional” linear broadcasting operating models by creating both music play lists and trails rotation patterns from a catalogue of available assets according to a set of user defined rules and imported “as run” information 2) Create themed “content packages” designed for non-linear consumption and maintain editorial integrity both within a single package and across a series of thematically aligned packages according to a set of user defined rules.
