Tender description

This notice is for a 2-year research tender on reactor digital design capability, including thermal hydraulics modelling and virtual engineering. It is split into 2 separate lots. The 2 lots will be contracted separately, i.e. one contract to deliver Work Package 1 and another to deliver Work Package 2. Lot 2: Building on the work of an earlier phase, identify and develop solutions to deliver a nuclear virtual engineering capability that incorporates virtual engineering and associated technologies from high-tech industries to enhance and reduce the cost of nuclear design and development programs. Develop advanced measurement capabilities and approaches to innovatively managing “big data”, including cross-sector best practice, supporting this work.
