Aberdeenshire Council will be the lead authority in establishing a multi-supplier framework for network connectivity requirements through the installation of gigabit capable network services. Aberdeenshire Council will establish a multi-supplier framework for network connectivity requirements through the installation of gigabit capable network services on behalf of the other listed authorities within the ITT. When a Contracting Authority has a requirement for services, a mini-competition shall be undertaken by that Contracting Authority. Further information on the procedure for conducting mini-competitions under the Framework is set out in Section 4.3 of this ITT. Tenderers should note that no call-off contracts are guaranteed to any tenderers by appointment to the framework. The Council does not guarantee that any of the Contracting Authorities will require to purchase services under the framework or otherwise and nothing in this ITT or a Framework Agreement shall give any tenderers any right to receive orders for services. Improving the region’s digital infrastructure is key to the long-term future of the local economy. It will drive innovation through the better use of physical and digital assets to enhance public and private service delivery, to tackle inequality and to improve social outcomes.
