Tender description
NHSBT are looking for a fully integrated, high throughput bacterial screening system which can detect bacterial contamination in platelet components. The system will be utilised in Filton (Bristol), Manchester and Colindale (London) where approximately 260 000 adult therapeutic doses of platelets each year are manufactured. NHSBT are seeking to engage with suppliers who can provide this through a managed service. If you are interested in providing this service then please contact Hannah Evans (hannah.evans@nhsbt.nhs.uk) by Monday 3rd June with details of your system.
