Tender description

Queens University have an urgent need to replace existing antenna measurement instrumentation. It is envisaged that this will result in a turnkey facility with technical specification superior to the existing facility. Ongoing project requirements dictate the need for an antenna measurement facility with frequency of operation capable of being extended into millimetre wave bands. In addition, the ability to measure the radiation patterns associated with on-chip antennas is seen as important. A solution is therefore being sought to replace the existing antenna measurement facility instrumentation so that it is scalable for measurements from 1 GHz to at least 170 GHz. The University is considering 2 different options: — Option 1: Far Field, — Option 2: Near Field. Contract for the supply, delivery, installation, commissioning and maintenance of anechoic chamber instrumentation.
