Tender description

To supply a Managed Laboratory service to NHSGG&C Labs based in QEUH Glasgow. Provision of a managed service agreement for the large majority of analyses performed within the NHS GG&C Laboratory Medicine Department across the full range of laboratory specialties. This will include equipment, consumables and reagents for the provision of services in the following laboratory specialties operating over a number of hospital sites across the Health Board area: — biochemistry including Core Biochemistry; Immunoassay; specialist Metabolic, Toxicology and Endocrine analysis and other niche specialist biochemistry analysis including the Scottish Trace Metals and Micronutrients Laboratory, — immunology including autoimmune, allergy and flow cytometry, — haematology — core haematology, coagulation, specialist haemostasis, haemoglobinopathy and haemato-oncology, including flow cytometry, — blood transfusion, — histocompatability and immunogenetics, — bacteriology, — virology, — histopathology including core histology, immunocytochemistry and electron microscopy, — cytology — non-gyn cytology, — genetics, — point of care testing equipment across a number of laboratory specialties including Blood Gas Analysis, HBA1C.
