Tender description
NHS Southend Clinical Commissioning Group, NHS Castle Point and Rochford Clinical Commissioning Group and Southend-on-Sea Borough Council (‘the Contracting Authorities’) invite suitably qualified service providers to tender for a South-east Essex Mental Health Wellbeing and Crisis Café Service. The intention is to formally procure this new community resource to be operational from 1.11.2019 for a period of 54 months plus the option to extend for a further 24 months. There are 2 elements to this service, both of which are recovery focused and seek to address mental health inequalities by working with more complex people within the system, enabling and empowering people to lead their own recovery and create peer support opportunities as well as sign posting people to the right community or clinical support. The proposed service model will combine two elements, a daytime wellbeing hub and an evening crisis cafe. Funding for the Mental Health Wellbeing hub is available from 1.11.2019. The crisis café element will have a staggered start date, with funding released in April 2020 for this part of the provision. Bidders will be required to ensure this is reflected in their service delivery proposals and commercial offer. To access the procurement documentation, please go to the Bravo website at: https://attain.bravosolution.co.uk Click on ‘Register here’ and follow the on-screen instructions. You can access the SQ by clicking on the link called ‘View current opportunities’ on the Home Page. Please note that the tender will not be accepted by any means other than through the Bravo e-Procurement Portal. The closing date for submitting completed Selection Questionnaires is 12:00 noon on 31.5.2019. Disclaimer: the Contracting Authorities shall not be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by respondents to this procurement in preparing and/or submitting such responses. The potential aggregate contract value inclusive of any option to extend the term is 1 739 333 GBP. The ‘Suggested Maximum Annual Price’ for each year of the contract is as follows: — 5 months, 1.11.2019 to 31.3.2020 (well-being hub only); 83 333 GBP, — 1.4.2020 to 31.3.2021 (both service elements); 276 000 GBP, — 1.4.2021 to 31.3.2022 (both service elements); 276 000 GBP, — 1.4.2022 to 31.3.2023 (both service elements); 276 000 GBP, — 1.4.2023 to 31.3.2024 (both service elements); 276 000 GBP.
