Tender description

NHS Midlands and Lancashire CSU (MLCSU) on behalf of the Commissioners, NHS Leicester City, NHS East Leicestershire and Rutland (LLR) and NHS West Leicestershire Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCG’s) wish to publish their intent with regards to this procurement. The CCG’s are looking to commission and receive bids from providers that can deliver this service. The LLR Children and Young People Emotional Mental Health and Wellbeing Triage and Navigation service will offer access to a wide range of information and advice, triage and signposting to the right services to meet the identified needs of the children and young people. The service will be delivered by a range of clinicians, both experienced generalists and specialists either via the telephone or online referrals. Self-referrals will be available via a dedicated telephone line. Further information is detailed below. The service must be delivered across all 3 CCG's geographical reach. The CCG’s are looking to commission and receive bids from providers that can deliver this service. The LLR Children and Young People Emotional Mental Health and Wellbeing Triage and Navigation service will offer access to a wide range of information and advice, triage and signposting to the right services to meet the identified needs of the children and young people. The service will be delivered by a range of clinicians, both experienced generalists and specialists either via the telephone or online referrals. Self-referrals will be available via a dedicated telephone line. It is envisaged that this will be a personalised advice, triage and onward referral service that is responsive to children’s up to the age of 18 years old health needs which gives advice to health professionals in the community to provide clinical advice and support to decision making and admissions avoidance effort from a locally within the geographical boundaries of LLR. The provider must have in place a secure N3 connection. The contract value is 192 000,00 GBP per annum. The whole life costing of this contract is 960 000,00 GBP. The commissioners wish to offer a contract for a period of 3 years plus an option to extend for a further 2 years. The anticipated date the commissioners would like the service to start being delivered on the 1.10.2019. The commissioners anticipate that this procurement will be awarded to 1 service provider or a lead provider on behalf of a consortium. The contract start date will be 1.10.2019.
