Tender description

Suffolk County Council (SCC) are currently working within a multi-agency steering group including family carer representatives to review the future provision of support to family carers of all ages in Suffolk from April 2020. We are presently consulting with family carers and other stakeholders to shape what future services, contract models and processes might look like. We currently envisage a clear comprehensive and joined up offer of support to carers including: — promoting awareness of family carers including proactive identification, — information, advice and guidance, — undertaking carers assessments and reviews on behalf of SCC, — support including emotional support, promoting health and wellbeing, training — delivered via a variety of media including digital content If you are interested in talking to us know about shaping these services for the future or if you are interested in working with Suffolk to provide this support for family carers, please contact family.carers@suffolk.gov.uk by 31.5.2019.
