Tender description

Construction of a cable-stayed opening footbridge to accommodate pedestrian/cycle movement across the River Clyde between Water Row in Govan and a new Pointhouse Quay extension adjacent to the Riverside Museum. Construction of a cable-stayed opening footbridge to accommodate pedestrian/cycle movement across the River Clyde between Water Row in Govan and a new Pointhouse Quay extension adjacent to the Riverside Museum. The bridge will comprise a fixed north end span of 18 m, a central rotating span of 67,5 m and a south rotating end span of 28 m. Works include construction of a new sheet piled quay wall, construction of north and south bank landing areas including public realm works, street furniture, green infrastructure and lighting and provision of remote layby berth.
