Tender description

The Contracting Authorities wish to establish a framework for: — repairs and maintenance to buildings and external areas, — repairs and maintenance to mechanical and electrical engineering installations, — repairs and maintenance to plumbing installations, — cyclical maintenance and statutory testing of mechanical and electrical engineering and plumbing installations, — minor capital works to buildings and external areas, including minor capital works for new build, refurbishment and alternation projects, — mechanical and electrical engineering and plumbing installations, — energy efficiency installations, — as part of the overall Constructing West Midlands (CWM) offer (see www.constructingwestmidlands.co.uk). The Framework Agreement will be made up of 2 lots: — Lot 1: Building Fabric Repair, Maintenance and Construction, and — Lot :2 Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Repair, Maintenance and Installation. It is anticipated that a minimum of 2 contractors will be appointed in each lot. Lot 1 will be for the provision of a range of repairs and maintenance to buildings and external areas including minor capital works for new build, refurbishment and alternation projects. Lot 2 will be for the provision of a range of repairs and maintenance to mechanical, electrical engineering and plumbing installations including minor capital works, new installations and alternation to existing installation.
