The Education and Development department has a role in supporting the Trust’s strategic objectives for workforce development through education and professional development in order to enable the delivery of excellent and cost-effective patient care. St. George’s therefore needs to ensure that mediation training is provided for current and future clinical and non-clinical leaders to ensure they are prepared and equipped to deal with the ever increasing complexities and pressures of today’s NHS. A key aim is to equip these staff groups with the skills and knowledge to be effective managers and leaders enabling them to demonstrate the NHS Leadership competencies within their current and future contexts. St. George’s is seeking the delivery of; • 5/6-day Accreditation in Workplace Mediation for twelve (12) staff (all staff). • 1-day facilitated conversations course for twelve (12) staff (Medical Consultants). • On-going support for the continuation of the mediation scheme. The winning bidder will be contracted against the standard NHS terms and conditions for provision of services: contract version.
