Brief Description of Requirement The proposal is to include the supply, delivery and installation (unloading) of 33 new ISO 40ft 'One Trip (shipped once)' High Cube Shipping Containers to the British Geological Survey, Nicker Hill, Nottingham, NG12 5GG. All containers to be delivered by 31st January 2019 . On days with deliveries there should be 2-4 drops per day, between the hours of 9-4 during the working week. Outside these hours by prior agreement. Proposed delivery schedule to be provided as part of submission. Please review Appendix A - British Geological Survey, Keyworth Site Drawing and Appendix B - Container Park, for the full specification information. The 33 containers are to meet the following specification: • 40 FT Long, 8 FT Wide, 9.5 FT High (external) • Constructed from cor-ten steel • All supplied containers to be blue • A minimum of 27mm hardwood flooring to interior (bidders are welcome to propose a thicker flooring in line with their own design. ) • Come with a one year guarantee on wind/water tightness • CSC plated • Exterior hinged double doors at end with two locking bars on each door • Exterior lock box is not essential Please ensure you review all attached information to ensure a full understanding of this requirement.
