To test a selection of tumble dryers, washing machines, and dishwashers to verify compliance with the following Regulations (and any amendments to these): — General Product Safety Directive (GPSD) 2001/95/EC, — UK Statutory Instrument 2005 No. 1803 — Consumer Protection The General Product Safety Regulations 2005. The budget for this contract is 95 000 GBP — 116 000 GBP excluding VAT with a contract duration of 3 months (from the award of the contract) with a possible extension of up to an additional 3 months. The Contracting Authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are Small or Medium Enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement, and the contract will be awarded on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender.
