Tender description

The existing Berths 6 & 7 on Trinity Terminal at the Port of Felixstowe are currently dredged to -15mCD, with an over-dredge allowance of 0.9m. Following recent structural re-assessment, it is proposed to deepen the two berths by capital dredging to -16mCD with a reduced over-dredge allowance of 0.3m. Due to the findings from the structural re-assessment, it is considered critical that the dredging operations do not exceed the 0.3m over-dredge allowance. It is also proposed to increase the width of the berth pockets from 55m to 70m. Keywords: dredging
