Tender description

Through the planning process there is a requirement for new housing developments to provide certain contributions e.g. affordable housing, education and health contributions, should they meet the relevant triggers. On occasions a new planning applicant will provide evidence to attempt to justify offering lower than policy contributions. The council does not have the 'in-house' expertise to thoroughly assess this evidence and therefore needs to utilise the services of an independent viability expert.
