Tender description

The requirement is for all potential candidates entering into the Naval Service (NS) both regular and reserve to undertake pre-entry employment medicals. This includes a thorough medical examination conducted by an appropriate service provider in suitable premises. These examinations are required for employment into the armed forces and in particular the candidate’s medical fitness for employment as laid down in JSP 950 Part 1 Lft 6-7-7 and BR 1750a. The service provider is to conduct all pre-entry employment medicals of potential candidates in accordance with the General Medical Council, Health and Safety Executive and the Royal Navy Medical Standards as provided by the Designated Officer, CNR MM SO3 on behalf Captain Naval Recruiting (CNR) and the Statement of Requirement (SOR).
