Tender description

Providing healthy and good quality catering services at Hamstead Hall and Grestone Academy Trust, who are looking to appoint a contractor to provide school meals from September 2019. The contract is for an initial period of 3 years, with two optional 1 year extensions. The bidding contractors must be able to show a proven track record of operating similar contracts within budgets and guidelines. There are currently the following pupils on roll: Hamstead Hall Academy, 1100 students on site between ages 11-18; Grestone Academy 637 - KS1- 326 and KS2 265 and 46 in the nursery. You must be able to show an innovative approach to providing a school meal service, in line with healthy eating and sourcing fresh local produce. Note: The site visits will take place as follows: Hamstead Hall Academy — 11:00 a.m. Monday 21.1.2019; Grestone Academy 11:30 a.m. Tuesday 22.1.2019. Note: Deadline for return of tender is midday Friday 15.2.2019. Please note this tender falls under the Light Touch
