Tender description

Chesterfield Borough Council requires a supply solution for the procurement of roofing materials. “Roofing Materials” can be considered to include the items listed in the associated documents but this list is not exhaustive and the contract may include other items as required. The tender is split into 6 “lots” which will enable individual suppliers to be able to bid competitively for the products. Samples Bidders will be required to submit samples of each product offered as listed below. Such samples shall be provided free of charge. Samples should be dispatched under separate cover and received by no later than 15.2.2019. Roofing Tiles and associated heavy side products. Breather membrane. Loft insulation. Guttering, soffits and associated building plastics. Timber joists, lath and sheets Timber must comply with FSC and PEFC regulations. If not 100 % FSC/PEFC certified then please state the percentage mix of certified timber. All timber and supply should comply with relevant applicable standards. The supplier should provide documentation to this effect. Treated timber must include details of any guarantee’s and COSHH data of the treatment. Soffits and Building plastics will be as our existing specification on profile and colour. Samples will need to be provided and any product supplied will be as per the samples. All of the lots 1-5. Lot 1: Roofing tiles and associated heavy side products. Lot 2: Breather membrane. Lot 3: Loft insulation. Lot 4: Guttering, soffits and associated building plastics. Lot 5: Timber joists, lath and sheets.
