Tender description

In accordance with the Chichester Local Plan a 76 hectare site at Tangmere, part of the Tangmere Strategic Development Location (“Tangmere SDL"), has been identified for the delivery of a residential led development within a high quality sustainable community at Tangmere. The Council is entering into an agreement (the “Agreement") with Countryside Properties (UK) Ltd("CPUK") after an advertised tender process, to promote and facilitate the delivery of the development at Tangmere, through the use, where necessary, of the Council’s compulsory purchase order powers (“CPO"). The objective of the Council in entering the agreement is to support CPUK's delivery of homes for local people at the Tangmere SDL, developing a settlement hub through a mix of housing including affordable homes with appropriate infrastructure for new residents.
